Vision

To first build the Kingdom of God. This will be accomplished by being Christ centered, Bible based, Holy Spirit filled, and Holy Spirit lead.

The Kingdom of God is built by reaching those who are lost. Matthew 18:11 says, ”For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.” We are chosen to preach the gospel to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.

We will lead by the Spirit and Word of God. We will not detour to accommodate man or tradition. We must preach and teach the members of the body of Christ that God will not accept anything less than the standards that are set in the written Word of God.

We know that this isn’t done alone. For Ephesians 4:11 states, “And He gave some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists and some pastors and teachers.” The Bible teaches that all things must be done decently and in order. Therefore, ministries must be established to fulfill the vision of kingdom building. By divine order from God, We must teach all individuals how to carry out their ministry and operate under authority in ministry.

God has not only given us a spiritual vision but a natural vision for the care and welfare of the church.

What we Believe

We accept the Scriptures as the revealed Will of God, the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice, and for the purpose of maintaining general unity, adopt these Statements of Fundamental Truths and Doctrine.

The Word of God Inspired

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God as originally given.

The One True Godhead

We believe in the triune Godhead comprised of three (3) personalities of God. The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit who are eternally self-existent, self-existent, self revealed and function as one entity. Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh is co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

The Deity of Jesus

We believe in the deity of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We believe in His birth, anointed work, death, burial, resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father in power and glory.

Man

We believe as recorded in Genesis the creation, test and fall of man. He was created in a state of holiness under the law of his Maker, but through the temptation Satan, he transgressed the command of God and fell from his original holiness and righteousness.

Salvation

We believe that the redemption of man through the shedding of Jesus blood, and the regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in Christian lives. The Holy Spirit enables them to live a godly life.

Water Baptism

We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion.

The Lord’s Supper

We believe in the communion of the Lord’s Supper for believers.

The Resurrection

We believe there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. The righteous to the resurrection of life and the unrighteous to the resurrection of damnation. (1 Thes. 4:14-17)

The Body of Christ

We believe in the spiritual birth of believers in Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

The Return of Christ

We believe in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ; the time and day of his coming is not revealed. (Matt. 24:36)

Satan

We believe in the reality and personality of Satan and eternal judgment of Satan and his angels.

Mission Statement

GBBC Ministries seeks to reach the community by bringing people together by standing on the Word of God. We strive to give spiritual hope and encouragement to people locally and around the world. We desire for people to know, they are more than conquerors through Him that loves us.
